Comments: You will get the feeling of a feudal Japan and the Samerai casts while you submerge yourself in this action filled adventure. The three main warriors consist of Jiya a mysterious woman warrior, Keylon Jakes the Samerai warrior, and Cafa an assassin. And in the background the Daze. The Daze you can tell from the way they are shown that they are not to be trusted.

The fights are bloody and brutal. The warriors show skill in their battles which are a beautiful dance of death. Robert and Patrick have created a new world. Their imagination will have you breathlessly turning each page. Patrick's drawings of Jiya show a beautiful mysterious woman. She is sexy and deadly looking.

This comic is a unique find. Any one who enjoys action, adventure, intrigue and great art should take a look at it. The writing and art will leave you wanting more.

Jones: Tales of an Ironstar #1 & #2

Writer/Artist: Brian Colin
Publisher: CodeDeco

Comments: This is a tale about a man of God. But he leaves his priestly duties after he kills his son while hallucinating from poison from a Serak. Serak's are a vicious looking creature. In this future wild west world mutations roam the Earth. That's ahy the Ironstars exist to hunt down these monsters. As you follow his adventures you will be taken on a tour of this future which could become a reality.

The art does have a nice blending of colors. The coloration for the scenery is done very well. The drawings could use a little more definition as sometimes they are a bit vague. The inside of the buildings have a lovely antiquated look to them.
