I love the way Lara Croft: Tomb Raider #38 got off the ground with a dream of Stonehenge and some diabolical markings on a stranger that seems to haunt this sacred site. I have been to Stonehenge and they now have a fence around the monument to keep away common vandals or people who try to chip away at the stone monuments, so they can have a souvenir.
I am glad it was mentioned that the stones are bluestones, possibly from Wales. I still can't fathom how these humongous stones made their way to England. Crop circles are created near Stonenhenge. Golden globes or orbs have been spotted near the monument. I sat there fascinated when seeing Stonehenge for the first time and all I could remember after that is my ex-wife yelling that we had to go, because she wanted to shop in London.
Stonehenge attracts people from all around the world, who feel compelled to be near this monument. My ex-wife of course referred Stonehenge as a bunch of old rocks. Sigh. In this story the dream of Stonehenge becomes a reality of scary proportions. I enjoyed watching Inspector Castleberry in this story, he reminded me of a young Sherlock Holmes. This story was a tale that touches upon the paranormal with an exceptional dramatic outcome!
