Press Release

IDW Collects the Stunning Story by Elliott, Giffen and Scott Hampton.

The story of the Garden of Eden is one of the most well known stories in existence. Now in The Bible: Eden, it has been captured in a stunning vision by painter Scott Hampton (The Life Eaters, The Upturned Stone). Noted writers Dave Elliott and Keith Gifffen have scripted this beautifully painted adaptation of the original story so that everyone can feel what it was like to be in Eden with Adam and Eve.

According to IDW's Editor-in-Chief Jeff Mariotte, "While everyone is familiar with the general story of Eden, Scott Hampton, Dave Elliott and Keith Giffen have given the tale a few twists of their own, though fully in keeping with the original intent. For instance, the fact of Eve's pregnancy is glossed over, to a great degree, in Scripture, but this unprecedented event was surely frightening, miraculous, and fulfilling to Eve and Adam. These creators have re-imagined the world's first story, and in doing so have produced a book sure to be treasured."

The Bible: Eden was originally serialized in Penthouse magazine, and has never been collected. This book contains nudity and is intended for an adult audience. The Bible: Eden is a 104-page, oversized hardcover, in full color, with a retail price of $21.99.
